well, notice that people don’t get called a chochom, but rather a “talmid.” i’d say that a talmid chochom is someone who is learning from a chochom, which i just said is probably non-existent. so is it someone who is a talmid of chochma? which i would say is torah?
either way, i’m not a talmid of anyone.
