Joseph: I’m sorry but this makes no sense. If polygamy will happen few and far between as you say, it can not solve the shidduch crisis in any case, so why bother. And even if you say we just need 5% – which is a pretty decent number – to go ahead with it (assuming these people are perfectly screened candidates and are ready, able and willing) the children born from such marriages will most likely still feel like second class kids and will not be happy about it. We can’t ask them to vote…
