Did you all know that Hashem decided that Klal Yisroel should exist as 12 basically separate nations when we entered Canaan. It wasn’t until hundreds of years later that the Jewish nation united came into being. Hashem sent us all over the world. Seemingly fragmented, but we weren’t. We were united in Torah. But we still have what the Princes of Israel did at the chanukas ha’mishkon. They brought the same korbonos, but all had different reasons. We can and are one nation even if we seem to have different ways. A Yid is a Yid because he believes and practices Torah. How many non-bearded Jews learn Daf Yomi every day on the LIRR? How many bearded Jews daven in 15 minutes and run off to do business? Beard beard where is your Yid?
