an open book-
It was nice of you to adjust your game boards so others can see it more easily.
I’m sure it’s appreciated.
After having difficulty keeping track of letters in a fast-moving game or two, what I now do is keep the game boards, gallows and backticks in a Notepad window, make all adjustments in that window, and cut-and-paste everything into the “post” window.
This way I don’t lose track of selected letters when my posts and guessers posts “cross in the mail”.
A couple of other things I try to do:
1) Give a little hint at the start of the game – not too obvious, hopefully.
2) Say how many letters the word has, for those who may not want to count the boxes or have difficulty viewing them.
3) As long as a mod is present and the game is being updated, stick around until the end (if possible).
4) Allow one letter per turn, so others can participate and players can consider their next guess based on a positive or negative result for a previous letter. Multiple letters at once ruins the flow of the game IMHO.
Feel free to agree or disagree with any or all of the above ideas in games you host.
