I grew up in ny and love to visit, but realistically buddy, OOT is cheaper, way better quality of life for kids and if you choose an oot city like Passaic, Baltimore Lakewood than you do have everything you need. Im not saying there isnt an amazing abundance of Torah in NY but many oot communities rival it….
