Trump said “The Mexican Government is forcing their most unwanted people into the United States. They are, in many cases, criminals, drug dealers, rapists, etc.” He did not say that, in fact, most immigrants were not wanted by their previous governments for political, religious or class reasons. Certainly Jews were not wanted by the Czarist government.
