Shopping girl: I know quite well that not everyone is not cut out to be a learner, and I am skeptical that many of the guys in kollel actually learn with their eyes in a sefer for 10 hours a day. I’m with you as far as the kind of guy I would like my daughters to marry, but there really aren’t that many at the moment. I suspect there are a number of guys who are in kollel only because that is what is expected of them, and that’s why places like Lakewood are bursting at the seams.
