It is also proof the the majority of Americans (and US presidents) are of either British or German Decent. There are likely more jews living in Great Britain today than any other time in history. Jews never really lived there and were expelled in 1190 and never officially let back in (Slowly the laws were changed to allow them, but it wasnt one event)
In Germany which wasnt a country until 1870 jews never really were a large part of the population and they did not really assimilate until the mid 19th century by which time most of the german immigration to the US already occured
