Joseph – it seems based on the story that Rav Shteinman advised that woman not to divorce because she wanted to divorce in order to marry a “better husband”. If a woman is being abused she should get divorced in order to end this bad marriage. Regardless of whether she will ever get married again. I don’t think anyone should divorce only in order to potentially marry someone else.
