It should be a constitutional amendment. That along with a balanced budget amendment. ( yeah right not in our lifetimes)
Speaking of one party rule and compromise, somehow ‘GRIDLOCK’ became this evil scary word. The founders intended gridlock, it is actually a FEATURE of our governing system.
You are so right “professional politicians feeding at the public trough” they dont care about whats good for the country or what the RIGHT thing is to do. (See the Iran vote)Its all about staying in lockstep to move up the food chain when its MY turn.
