Reply To: Last day to eat matza?

Some Poskim ridicule the custom to avoid eating Matzah before Erev Pesach. There he writes that one should not say that many [Rabim] are accustomed to avoid eating Matzah starting from Rosh Chodesh, but rather one should read Rakim [ignoramuses] are accustomed to avoid eating Matzah before Erev Pesach, as they are arguing on the decree of the Sages which only decreed on Erev Pesach.
