Notasheep,the reason I’m not getting your being open-minded is because you keep questioning how popa can’t make early Shabbos. You want to know something? I don’t either. My life experiences are vastly different. I b”H do have the luxury of early Shabbos if I want (I usually opt not to, out of halachic considerations, but I don’t live in Gateshead, so I’m not judging you, or for that matter, anyone anywhere), but I can accept that popa (or anyone) can have such a reality, even if it’s out of my realm of experience.
