Sam4: The R’ Efraim in vayigash definitely seems literal(I didn’t look it up yet). What do you think of all this(please see my previous post)? Regarding ararat, I also had that observation. There is a medrash that sancheriv planned on killing his two sons as a korbon to nisroch and that’s why they killed him. So maybe they ran to ararat to ‘atone’ for nisroch(board of taiva) not receiving the korban. Here’s something interesting: Sancheriv is the same gematria as nisroch. His son Esar Chadon who was king after him is also gematria nisroch. Therefore since they ran to ararat to seek asylum by the taiva itself, they were spared since the taiva was the avoda zara of the king. Lehavdil in this week’s parsha, if a murderer runs to the mizbai’ach he is not spared. Writersoul: Tzidkiya Ben Cena’ana made horns of iron, however I am not aware that he wore them. Bekitzur: Malbim says that the cold waters of the yarden would normally have a negative effect on tzara’as. Therefore to make the neis bigger he used those waters to heal him. I suspect there might be another answer.
