It is not so easy to accept the tafkid why you are here if all you do is suffer.

Especially without the slightest knowledge of exactly what your specific tafkid, is.

#1 Since you mention it here, please tell me why my other post “had to be” deleted?

#2 That story still does not explain how his suffering is supposed to cause him to do teshuvah in life where he has no clue as to what is going on.

it wasn’t supposed to cause him to do Tshuvah, it was to cause him to suffer (specifically in the most difficult manner of not knowing why) to cleanse his Neshama

#3 I know very little Yiddish (or Hebrew for that matter) what is a Chushuv and what is a Zakain I am unfamiliar with either of those words or their meanings.

Chusuv means important in Torah ways, Zakain is an old wise Yid
