If you’re already going to uproot yourself and your family, why not head east and make aliyah? There’s a mitzvah to live in E”Y, and there’s certainly no mitzvah to live in Canada or the U.S. (That includes Monsey, Boro Park, Lakewood, and the list goes on and on . . .)
