Well said kkls! By you asking him all these questions, you are showing that you still want to be part of his life and you care about him. If you stop asking, that shows him you no longer care. And even though it bothers him, deep down he knows its coming from a good place. Unless of course, as kkls said, if you only started asking questions recently, that would upset him.
