Incidents of white against black (cop or civilian) shootings are reported nationally. Incidents of black against white, or the majority of incidents, black against black are reported locally, if at all. The narrative is NEVER an african american killed an african american (in chicago for example it is simply, 4 more shot dead, not 4 more african americans killed by african americans – you can be sure if the murderers were white how it would report), but if a white killed an african american (think george zimmerman/trayvon martin) it is national news.
