Peel and core as many yellow apples as you’re able. Put in a pot with an inch or two of water, and some lemon juice (to prevent browning). Simmer, and simmer, and simmer till the apples mush on their own.

variations – add sugar, and/or cinnamon sticks, and/or frozen strawberries
