MDG, except it isn’t a failing show. It got rave reviews and plenty of people are willing to shell out a bunch of Alexander Hamiltons to see it. When I first heard of Hamilton I was bemused — a hip-hop musical about a guy who died 200 years ago? Then I realized that he had a lot in common with rappers: he was born out of wedlock and he died of a gunshot.
