The real answer is No there is not a Yeshivish community there, its a more modern community like Teaneck or the 5 towns (Just not as wealthy as the 5 towns)
ZD: WADR, the 5 Towns is (in many ways) an extremely Yeshivish community (at least parts of it), with Aish Kodesh and Rabbi Knobel in the 5 Towns (I was by his yeshiva recently for an Aufruf, and was very impressed).
Also isn’t Rabbi Bender’s Yeshiva in the 5 Towns?
