Besides looking at it from a halachic point of view, the secular world is struggling with the same issue. Women refer to it as the “H BOMB” (Harvard). Meaning that some women are trying to hide the fact that they have a degree from Harvard so as to not turn off their date. There was also a piece about the h bomb on 60 minutes. There is a great book about it by NYT columnist Maureen Dowd called “Are Men Necessary?”
