I also enjoyed DY’s refutation of the Radvaz being proof specifically by wine – however it does seem clear its ideal to drink wine.

I don’t think he refuted it. The Radvaz was only a raya that the ikkar is with wine, not that you’re not yotzei with other alcohol. And I think it’s still a raya to that.
