Yes and no.

I didn’t mean you yourself acting as the go-between / shadchan / contact person, but possibly you know someone who might – maybe a parent, sibling, uncle, rov, married friend, etc.

I can understand the discomfort of a single girl trying to redt a shidduch for a guy and vice versa. In this particular case, where little is known about the other person beside online posts, it would probably be even more uncomfortable.

Fortunately, people understand the discomfort and awkwardness that can arise in certain “redting” situations, and are willing to step in and act as the intermediaries.
