listen, i also thought the norm is 1-2 dollars. sometimes they want more but what can you do. i usually feel bad and just give in. (i had a guy that i gave 1 to and he says “that’s it?” so i said OK, take two, but he didn’t want to take it.)
note that just because an order is big, it doesn’t mean that should get more; they didn’t make the food.
