Most advanced industrialized nations have gone with some form of single-payer plan. The costs are generally about half of what the US spends on healthcare, and the care is just as good. Some products and services, e.g., healthcare, don’t work in so-called free-market systems. Stop worrying about nonsense and myths about the “miracle” of free markets. Look at what works and do it that way.
