Furthermore: in every generation it is possible that “a prophet I will appoint for them… like you,” as the Rambam explains88 that “every prophet that arises after Moshe Rabbeinu (our teacher), we do not believe him only because of the wonder [he shows us]… rather because of the Mitzvah that Moshe commanded in the Torah…” Meaning to say, that every prophet is the continuation of Moshe’s prophecy and his Torah89 (only that in the revelation of prophecy there are di erent levels, as explained in the Rambam84).
