When the suggestion was brought up in the Knesset to allow Israelis abroad to vote, Moron Harav Shach opposed it strongly – despite the fact that hundreds of thousands of chareidim abroad would have been able to take advantage of the law of return and then vote, and that few of our non religious brethren would vote. Moron Harav Shach said decisively there is enough machloikes in eretz Yisroel, we do not need export it to chutz la’aretz.
