Yes, profit is a good motivator to lie to the public
Take vioxx for example, the company memos indicated they knew it had a severe increase in heart attacks. It was only after half a million people got heart attacks that it was taken off the market. You can see how well the US Drug lords watch over us. Now they had to pay out billions in settlements, and they STILL made money on the drug. This is a company that currently makes vaccines for our Children. And u trust THOSE people with their studies??? Profit comes before people. Always.
