ANTI VAXXERS,
I noticed something funny about you; your’ single point has been adressed.
You said autism rates are up because of vaccines, but as 2scents said, “why hasn’t there been a plateau?”
Furthermore,
CDC/MMWR
“Overall, U.S. vaccination coverage is at record high levels. In 1997, coverage among children aged 19-35 months (median age: 27 months) exceeded 90% for three or more doses of diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and pertussis vaccine (DTP), three or more doses of poliovirus vaccine, three or more doses of Hib vaccine, and one or more doses of measles-containing vaccine.”
STATISTICA.COM
“It was found that in the year 2017, around 91.5 percent of children aged 19 to 35 months had received all their doses of the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine.”
Okay, so vaccination rates stayed about the same for MMR for the past 20 years.
(It actually fell for others, as seen on the graph on Statistica.)
So then why did autism continue to rise?
However, YOU never addressed this.
HRSA .GOV ON VACCINE INJURIES
βHow many petitions have been awarded compensation?
According to the CDC, from 2006 to 2016 over 3.1 billion doses of covered vaccines were distributed in the U.S. For petitions filed in this time period, 5,564 petitions were adjudicated by the Court, and of those 3,773 were compensated. THIS MEANS FOR EVERY 1 MILLION DOSES OF VACCINE THAT WERE DISTRIBUTED, 1 INDIVIDUAL WAS COMPENSATED.
Since 1988, over 20,018 petitions have been filed with the VICP. Over that 30-year time period, 17,536 petitions have been adjudicated, with 6,276 of those determined to be compensable, while 11,260 were dismissed. Total compensation paid over the life of the program is approximately $4.0 billion.β
Remember, those are facts.
OK, so we have about 10,000 vaccine injuries since 1988. (including unreported and unfairly uncompensated)
letβs do some math. Since 1988, USA population has gone up by around 41 million. According to the CDC, 1 in a thousand measles cases die. if there were no vaccines everyone would have gotten the measles. This means that 41,000 of those 41 million would have died. so we have the option of either 10,000 vaccine injuries vs. 41,000 deaths.
Which do you think is worse?
If you do not PROVE this reasoning wrong, you have lost the debate.
