Millhouse says I am lying when I say that Amish don’t vaccinate and autism is extremely rare among Amish.
Millhouse gave two links to prove his point.
Links removed here too
In 2005, an article that Amish don’t vaccinate and don’t get autism was published.
Following that article, the CDC began a very aggressive campaign to vaccinate the Amish, including going
door to door and scaring the Amish into vaccinating. The Amish were scared to vaccinate and only agreed to
ONE vaccine! And after the Amish started vaccinating,, voila, NOW the Amish also have autism – but at a much
lower rate!
Millhouse – here is an excerpt from the article YOU CITED and Gave the Link:
“A 2011 study published in the journal Pediatrics surveyed 1,000 Amish parents about their vaccination habits. Of the 359 people who responded:
68% stated that all of their children had received at least 1 immunization”
It is safe to assume that the 641 Amish who did NOT respond, do not vaccinate, so the vaccination rate of
Amish is less then 68%. And the ones who did vaccinate gave ONE immunization, Not the 74 doses given to
most children.
“Preliminary data have identified the presence of ASD in the Amish community at a rate of approximately 1 in 271 children ” So the AMISH VACCINATE LESS, AND HAVE LESS AUTISM! The rate of autism in general population is 1:59.
So Millhouse, the article YOU CITED indicates LESS VACCINATION = LESS AUTISM!
68% stated that all of their children had received at least 1 immunization
