So if 4,000 people died from Measles, all those deaths would be recorded on the Death Certificates
i.e. ALL Measles Deaths were reported.
So at most 500 people died from measles out 3-4 MILLION. And the reason most measles cases are unreported is because measles was considered SO HARMLESS that most mothers didn’t even take child to the doctor – children recovered just fine with bedrest and fluids.
