Update: The event is still on (this Thursday) and despite what the Rosh Hayeshiva assured my friend, the posters, are still hanging in the hallways of local Shuls.

In my opinion, it is one thing to have the event, it’s another level when the posters are right in your face (and the faces of teens and kids) with the main focus on a hand with a cigar.
