There are frum organizations that run separate men and women groups that use good hechsherim and keep the trips kosher. The non frum groups are not even remotely kosher in any sense of the word. The hechsherim they allow are not ones accepted by most, keeping shabbos is optional, and mingling between guys and girls is actively encouraged.
