AS far as having a yeshiva health code, when the outbreak first occurred a few yeshivas tried to ban their anti-vaxer students but the state wouldn’t allow it because of the religious exemption. The problem is every time one problem is solve it creates a bigger problem
Kidnapping these almost 5,0000 children beside being a capital offense according to both secular and Jewish law and the health care provider would lose their license besides of which it isn’t practical. Even ICE can’t round up 5,000 illegal aliens in a week. Do you think you can get far with the amber alert system. and video cameras all over the place. You maybe able to get away the first two time but after that both the cops and the anti-vaxers will be onto you and if you get caught by civilian patrol you better hope they call the cops and don’t take justice into their own hands. Also they may charge you with human trafficking and serving time for these crimes are not so easy.
Similarly making all 5,000 of them wards of the state, besides being time consuming, it’s doubtful if the state could afford taking all 5,000 children into the foster care system.
If the only option is home schooling and you are dumping the schooling on the parents, then the parents are entitled to compensation and training or the state can provide tutors for each student in their mother tongue. It is the states responsibility to educate it’s residents whose age are between between 6-16 not the parent. The federal government gives the state money so that No Child is Left Behind and if the state is not making sure that these children are properly educated then the state should no;t be receiving these funds. .
