Reply To: What’ is a “Person of Color”?

In the healthcare field, there is a concept of “person first” language. Basically, you dont want to identify the person by a visible characteristic, rather by who they are as a person. So, ininstead of saying that someone is autistic, you would say “a person with autism”, as that should not be their defining trait. I’m assuming the same logic is used in “person of color”!
