A bachur should keep his facial hair however he wants. If he wants to keep it in conformity with jewish tradition – then grow it. If he wants to look 20th century – then shave it.
If the yeshiva tries to dictate matters of personal taste such as facial hair, then you shouldn’t go to that yeshiva!
