Reply To: Is it better to be Chassidish or Litvish?

Chasan Sofer became chassidish. The Viener Rav,. Rav Lebovits, ztz’l also my rebbe, pronounded it as ee chassidish. The yeshiva also turned chassidish. You are right . It ia confusing. It proves there should be a difference, so I say it like the german uber. No mistake is made in laining by the chassidim. The litvishe say oo.
I also learned by Rav Simcha Bunim ztz’l but I don’t remember his pronunciatiion.
