Sometimes we can learn mussar from a Non-jewish book, The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain
(Samuel Clemens) where it demonstrates what is in Pirkei Avos אל תדין את חבירך עד שתגיע למקומו by switching places they learn what the other experiences.
