Well, protesting things like Busses running on Shabbat in Eretz Yisrael, which would prevent other Jewish people from at the very least somewhat publicly desecrating Shabbat may be a worthwhile protest if effective, even to a small degree.
After all it is in fact Eretz Yisrael itself…
