Just speaking to a friend on the difficult choices implied by the OP and perhaps staying at home would be equally risky. The kids will still be out on the streets of Brooklyn coming home each day with potential issues and the data show that infants have low infection rates although this new Corona-related syndrome is worrisome.
Sad that we even have to deal with this Hobbesian choice.
