sure and obviously I don’t know the specific circumstances your parents faced but buying houses and college admission was probbly not one of them

Yes the vicious cycle of poverty is bad regardless. but when the vicious cycle of poverty is bad as a result of systemic oppression (that existed years ago) that is worse
