“That’s not true…” I read up a bit. Blacks are over represented in police shootings relative to general population. Blacks are underrepresented in scenarios that include mental illness (by far the most defined category) and ‘suicide by cop’. (Second largest category. If I read your point correctly, you mean that blacks being eight times more likely to be shot by police unarmed than a white person. Agreed. If you want to point to all cases, than it is twice as often that a white man is shot. But only twice as likely for a black man. Unless you were referring to homicides in the general population.
