Neither Ttrump, R’ Zelenko etc. have cited a single randomized, placebo controlled trial has shown efficacy in Covid treatment by HCQ (with or w/o zinc). Indeed, the few such studies of HCQ have shown the opposite. The authors of the Ford Health system study that is repeatedly cited in relation to HCQ efficacy have acknowledged that their study was not a randomized, placebo controlled trial but also that a relatively large percentage of trial participants were being treated with steroidal medications.
