Sorry for getting off-topic, I am sure this has never happened before in the Coffee Room.
Somewhere down the line , someone got their information from the primary source, in this case, someone with a worm’s eye view of events or, yes, the rags publishing the clips online. The more filters, the less real news and the more colored it is by bias. Anyone with a college education, and most who do not have one, know that. I’m old enough to read what I can and want, to compare it to other sources, to filter it out, and to draw my own conclusions. Surely even you have read two chareidi newspapers, both backed by gedolei olam, and wondered if the editors live on the same planet. Receiving the “news” from individuals who “know the news” doesn’t cut it these days. Any opinions formed on that basis are unworthy of being argued in a public forum.
