Until Trump concedes or he uses up all his appeals he can still remain in office. In a standard eviction case the landlord goes to court to evict the tenant, which in this case is GSA who is siding with Trump. Getting him out will require a court order. The Democrats and the media for months have been talking about this, now they are going to be forced to do something about it. They can always impeach him but I doubt the Senate will approve.
It’s been a week since the election and yet control of the Senate and even the House of Representatives haven’t been declared. Getting qualified candidates maybe a problem if the transition team can’t even get office space and funding. Likewise, whose going to quit a high paying job when they are not assured Senate approval needed to get the job.
