I don’t get the post-term conviction. seems like that’s what’s happening. McConnell said no vote before inauguration and they’re working on trying 6him afterward. what does that accomplish? kill his 2024 Chance? even if so what are the legal mechanics behind that–i.e. what legality can the Senate’s conviction of a regular citizen have?
