UJM, Maybe so, but when a Jew is wearing a Kippah on 5th ave and there is a veteran who served his country so that we may wear said Kippah sitting on the sidewalk, and non jews see me give this guy a donation, it is a Kiddush Hashem. I’ll do it every time I have the opportunity. I do it as I am getting onto the GWB also. These people are extremely appreciative and thankful.
