Perhaps the OP can further clarify the question. Are you talking about some sort of civil rights case against a common carrier for religious discrimination, a ‘hate crime” under federal law etc.? Otherwise, there are relatively few barriers to “successfully bringing a bringing a [civil]case to court”. The bigger question is what is the liklihood of obtaining a favorable verdict after a jury or bench trial or leveraging the lawsuit into a settlement with an airline anxious to avoid the negative publicity of a trial.
