The school in Texas did have a trained security guard who this shooter was able to get by. The classroom had been hardened to keep OUT a shooter but he got in and locked the door so that police could not enter for over 25 minutes. They finally thought to ask the principal for a key which is how they finally entered and took him out. By that time, he had slaughtered 18 kids and teachers.
