Shmuel Shapira is a grifter who convinced the government to give him millions of dollars to devolpe BriLife. He cost Israel millions. Bibi was dumb to listen to him and fall for his sales pitch, but admirably changed course and convinced Pfizer to make Israel the first country to get the vaccines. I think that was Bibi’s best moment as PM. Israel was able to be the first out of covid and was ranked by the Economist as the second best economy and fourth happiest country. I am convinced that a lot had to do with the fact that they were first to get the vaccine.
